I'm very pleased to finally be able to launch some products that have been in the pipeline for a while now! It feels like its been ages since I began work on my new product lines, but hopefully the saying is true - all good things are worth waiting for!
My origami patterned papers and #cutoutandcreate cards have already been launched at the Crafty Fox Market, Autumn craft fairs I was lucky enough to take part in this year, and I'm happy to say they were an instant hit! They are now also available online through my Etsy store.
The new card designs are sized A5 and have all the elements you need to create your own paper flower arrangement, including the paper flowers in different shapes and colours, sticky pads to attach and a label should you wish to write your own special message! The idea behind them was to encourage the creativity in all of us and to get people doing what I love best - collaging and paper cutting in its simplest form!
I also wanted a way of sharing the different results to see what people came up with - hence the hashtag #cutoutandcreate. I can't wait to see the results further down the line!
I have also recently made some origami, decorative papers with my pattern designs on them. They come in packs of 20 sheets with 5 different designs. To go along with these I am planning to do loads more origami tutorials and post them right here on my blog too, as well as other fun things that you can do with these designs (I'm thinking collage, decoupage, paper decorations - I can't wait to get started!)
The idea with these new products was to stick to my colourful, paper design roots in order to keep things affordable and fun but add a bit of creativity and crafting into the mix. I love the idea of people creating new things with my products, and I'm so excited to see the outcomes!
